The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wheatmore in their matchups with Central Davidson: they've now lost four in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Wheatmore lost, one person who can't be blamed is Gavin Strickland. Despite the final result, he scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds. The contest was Strickland's third in a row with at least ten points. Weston Driggers was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Wheatmore's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Central Davidson, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
