Lakeside's blakely lawless recorded the longest rushing play in 5A South this season in his game against Malvern last week. Lawless scampered for 80 yards on the play and finished with 131 on the day as his team defeated the Leopards.
Lakeside scaled the state rankings by moving to 81 from 119 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Jared Mcbride's team was able to move up by defeating Malvern 20-14.
