After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mercer, West Middlesex was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Reynolds Raiders get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Big Reds, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
Harper Nickel and Kaylee Long made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Nickel tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Long tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Nickel went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Long went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
