Victory Baptist Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaac Johnson out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds. Johnson hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for 24 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Ruhl, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Eagle Christian Academy's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.9 points per game. As for Victory Baptist Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.
