The West Albany Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Caldera at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oregon (West Albany is ranked 29th, while Caldera is ranked 35th).
Even though McKay scored an imposing 31 points on Friday, West Albany still came out on top. West Albany took down McKay 48-31. The win was just what West Albany needed coming off of a 49-28 loss in their prior game.
West Albany's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jarron Huebner led the charge by rushing for 276 yards and two touchdowns. Lukas Hews was another key contributor, throwing for 219 yards and three touchdowns.
West Albany's defensive line stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Pena Moors and his three sacks.
Meanwhile, Caldera unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. The contest between Caldera and Summit wasn't particularly close, with Caldera falling 21-7.
West Albany's victory lifted them to 7-2 while Caldera's defeat dropped them down to 6-3.
