The Manhattan Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Andover Central by a score of 52-49.
Hayden Snodgrass was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds for Andover Central. That makes it three consecutive games in which Snodgrass has scored at least a third of Andover Central's points. Another player making a difference was Taylin Tabor, who scored nine points.
Manhattan's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Andover Central, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
Manhattan and Hayden will face off on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hayden knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Manhattan likes a good challenge. As for Andover Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Goddard at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
