Glenns Ferry has gone 8-2 against Notus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Pilots will welcome the Pirates at 3:00 p.m. Glenns Ferry is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.
Glenns Ferry barely beat Idaho City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pilots put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 11-1 victory on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Pilots considering their two-run performance the game before.
Madison Fisher was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 11 matchups. Another player making a difference was Sahira Arevalo, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Glenns Ferry was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Notus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to Greenleaf Friends Academy. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly ten runs.
Notus got a big performance out of Trinity Willes, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Willes is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Fatima Alvarez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Glenns Ferry's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.8 runs over those games. As for Notus, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Glenns Ferry has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 9.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Notus struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Glenns Ferry's way against Notus when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Glenns Ferry made off with a 14-0 win. Do the Pilots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
