Chouteau-Mazie suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Liberty 58-23. While losing is never fun, Chouteau-Mazie can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while Liberty is ranked 133rd).
Meanwhile, Riverfield Country Day unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a hard 67-50 fall against Liberty.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Braedon Clinton, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Cameron Rutterford was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Chouteau-Mazie has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Riverfield Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.
