The Bayonne Bees will head out on the road to face off against the Passaic County Tech Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Bayonne sitting on three straight victories and Passaic County Tech on nine.
Last Friday, Bayonne was able to grind out a solid win over North Bergen, taking the game 37-26.
It was another big night for Rocky Rodriguez, who rushed for 182 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Rodriguez was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 62 yards. Chance Fischer did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 103 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Passaic County Tech owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They breezed by Eastside on the road to the tune of 30-0. The result was nothing new for Passaic County Tech, who have now won five games by 23 points or more so far this season.
Bayonne now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Passaic County Tech, their win was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-0.
