On Tuesday, Solon earned a 58-49 win over the Titans. The win made it back-to-back wins for Solon.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andre Alexander, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Alexander pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Masyn Zahursky, who scored 14 points.
Solon has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Berea-Midpark, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
Solon won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Berea-Midpark, they will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Ohio (Avon is ranked 150th, while the Titans are ranked 132nd).
