Walters scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 41-14 loss at the hands of the Minco Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 102nd).

Walters is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. As for Minco, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Walters is set to challenge their familiar foe Frederick at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. Meanwhile, Minco will take on rival Hobart at 7:00 a.m. on the 24th.
