On Saturday, Victory Christian was the victim of a tough 73-47 loss at the hands of LAMP. Victory Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Victory Christian still got an impressive performance from Peyton Scott, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The match was Scott's 18th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of William Wilson-Hueter, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and four blocks.
Victory Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for LAMP, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alabama School for the Deaf at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. As for LAMP, they will head out on the road to face off against Booker T. Washington Magnet at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
