Rickover Naval's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 35-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chicago Mathematics & Science.
Mather posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Phoenix Military 52-18 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-7.
Mather found their leader in underclassman Janelle Eliot, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Eliot has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kayrhianna Jackson, who scored 12 points.
Rickover Naval now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Mather, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-5.
