On Friday Bunn take on Granville Central at Youth Night at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bunn ultimately got the result it was hoping for last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Vance County, sneaking past 44-42. Bunn found Bunn's leader in underclassman sophomore Juvenal Angulo, who rushed for 101 yards and 3 touchdowns. Perry has now scored at least one touchdown in the past six games.
Meanwhile, Granville Central might be getting used to good results now that the squad have five wins in a row. They made easy work of J.F. Webb and carried off a 33-8 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 20-0.
Their wins bumped Bunn to 4-2 and Granville Central to 5-0. Granville Central's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Bunn defensive front that amassed seven sacks against Vance County, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
