After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mangum, Sayre was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Cordell Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Eagles have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Sayre pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Cordell, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sayre will challenge Mangum at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cordell, they will head out to challenge Blair at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
