The Bel Air Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Severn School Admirals at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bel Air is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Bel Air won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They were outmatched by Edgewood on the road and fell 60-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bel Air has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Severn School didn't have too much trouble with Bryn Mawr at home on Friday as they won 47-31. The win made it back-to-back wins for Severn School.
Severn School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from KATIE MENTESANA, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points MENTESANA has scored all season. LAYLA EPPS was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Bel Air's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Severn School, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Bel Air might still be hurting after the 39-18 loss they got from Severn School in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Bel Air avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
