Despite the loss, Williams still got an impressive performance from Nickoli Cody, who scored 23 points along with three steals. Cody hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. JP Echeverria was another key contributor, scoring five points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Monte Hammon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for El Capitan/Centennial Academy, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds. Hammon continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Hammon, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Williams' loss dropped their record down to 20-11. As for El Capitan/Centennial Academy, they pushed their record up to 23-5 with that win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season.
