The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/University Science & Engineering, who took down 72nd ranked Cromwell, 36-19.
The Tigers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,303 from 12,236. The improvement was largely due to a 36-19 victory over the Panthers last week.
Leading Pequot - North in both passing and receiving yards, Cromwell's Mavric Pelletier and Jarius Bailey have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Pelletier has thrown for 912 yards this season, while Bailey has 22 catches for 271 yards. Jarvis Miller from Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby leads the league in rushing with 1,252 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Enfield takes on Chris Eckert's team. At the moment, the Raiders are in fifth, while the Panthers are in first.
Ellington/Somers led the league in scoring this week by notching 41 points on the Wildcats.
