Worth County/Northeast Nodaway extended the longest winning streak in 275 (8 Man) this week by beating North Nodaway, 78-28. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Stanberry was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in the league. Earlier in the week, the Bulldogs defeated West Nodaway 75-0.
Mound City's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Luke Sanders has thrown for 393 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Dayne Messer has 11 catches for 252 yards. Thomas Shifflett leads the league in rushing with 356 yards.
The marquee game in 275 (8 Man) this week will be the clash between Mound City and Craig/Fairfax. The Panthers enters the game ranked ninth in the state, while the Hornets ranks 22nd.
