The Jordan-Elbridge Eagles can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They claimed a resounding 66-22 win over Hannibal at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-10.
Jordan-Elbridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Erin Lavancha out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lavancha has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Abbie Ahern, who almost dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 16 rebounds, and nine assists.
Jordan-Elbridge has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Hannibal, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan-Elbridge will take on Cazenovia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cazenovia is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Hannibal, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Skaneateles at 6:30 p.m.
