Montclair's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ontario, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Montclair's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Ontario has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Montclair, though, as they've been averaging 11.4 hits. Given Ontario's sizable advantage in that area, Montclair will need to find a way to close that gap.
