Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Kadoka beat Harding County 12-8 on Thursday. The success made it back-to-back wins for Kadoka.

Kadoka struggled in the first half and ended with zero points. As for Harding County, they scored eight to put Kadoka at a 0-8 disadvantage heading into the break. In the second half, however, Kadoka's defense made a stand and allowed a meager 0 points.

Kadoka found their leader in underclassman sophomore Gaven Sudbeck, who rushed for 79 yards and 1 touchdown. In fact, with ten tackles Sudbeck was a force on both sides of the ball. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse senior John Daly, who racked up ten tackles.

Kadoka's victory brought them up to 5-4. Harding County's defeat pushes them down to 7-2.

Next week Kadoka will take on Sully Buttes at 7:00 PM. Sully Buttes are cruising in on a nine-game winning streak. Harding County will look to defend their home turf against Faulkton at 6:00 PM.
