Despite the loss, Hilton Head Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Harrison Skinner scored 25 points along with five steals. Skinner has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Finn Ussery, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten steals.
Meanwhile, Woodville-Tompkins earned a 58-49 victory over the Gamecocks on Tuesday.
Hilton Head Christian Academy's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Woodville-Tompkins, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.
