Eric Cisneros' Big Game Leads Palmer over Life Oak Cliff
Starting off the list is Palmer's Eric Cisneros, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Cisneros rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 130 rushing yards.
The win was the fifth in a row for Palmer, bringing their record for this year to 7-2. Cisneros and Palmer will venture away from home to square off against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Pottsboro found a leader in Cayden Humphrey as the team took down Pilot Point on Friday. Humphrey was unstoppable, rushing for 128 yards and four touchdowns, while also throwing for 144 yards while completing 90.9% of his passes.
If history really does repeat itself, Humphrey might just drop another big game when he faces off against Whitesboro on Friday. Humphrey rushed for 137 yards while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 185 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Bearcats duked it out back in September of 2023.

Pottsboro Gets a Boost from Nix in 48-40 Victory
Carson Nix posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
This year, Nix has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 73.4 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he was only averaging 1.22 rushing yards per game.
