Huntsville barely beat Dardanelle the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huntsville Eagles blew past the Dardanelle Sand Lizards 14-5 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Huntsville pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Dardanelle, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Huntsville will take on Lonoke at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Dardanelle, they will challenge Nashville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
