A well-balanced attack led the Lighthouse Prep Academy Eagles over the Heartland Christian Academy Eagles in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Lighthouse Prep Academy was the clear victor by a 49-25 margin over Heartland Christian Academy. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Lighthouse Prep Academy had established a 20 point advantage.
Leading Lighthouse Prep Academy to victory were Savannah Sinnett and Madeline Hutchison. Sinnett scored 12 points, while Hutchison scored 24 points.
Heartland Christian Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jaci Rihanek, who scored ten points, and Shea Aldridge who scored seven points.
Lighthouse Prep Academy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-7. As for Heartland Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Lighthouse Prep Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Christian Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Christian Fellowship focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. Heartland Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
