Basketball Recap: Agua Dulce Victorious

Agua Dulce picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears by a score of 64-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Longhorns.

Despite the loss, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo still got an impressive performance from Landon Vega, who went 6 of 12 en route to 18 points along with six boards and four steals. Vega is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Guajardo, who posted nine points.

Agua Dulce's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.

Agua Dulce didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-37 victory against Kaufer on the 28th. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-51 win against San Isidro on the 28th.
