The Harvest Community Warriors can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 77-37 victory over River City Science Academy at home. The win was nothing new for Harvest Community as they're now sitting on four straight.
Harvest Community's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sean Murphy led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Elijah Carter, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Harvest Community has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season. As for River City Science Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harvest Community and Tocoi Creek will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for River City Science Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Joshua Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
