VANCOUVER, Wash. - The defense did their part on the scoring end for for
Camas (Wash.) on Saturday, totaling 14 points as the Papermakers beat Skyview (Vancouver, Wash.) 47-12.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Papermakers were up 47-0 at the half.
A big 24-point second quarter helped Camas secure the win. CHS scored on a rushing touchdown, a defensive touchdown and a
Zach Eagle touchdown run in the quarter.
A 42-17 Camas victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The loss comes after Skyview defeated Enumclaw 49-7 last week. The loss snapped Skyview's two-game winning streak.
Skyview (2-3) will play a 4A Greater St. Helens game against Heritage next week, while Camas (5-0) will take on Evergreen also in a 4A Greater St. Helens game.
