Meanwhile, after a disappointing nine points in their last match, Whitman-Hanson Regional made sure to put some points up on the board against Quincy last Friday. Whitman-Hanson Regional steamrollered Quincy 39-0. With Whitman-Hanson Regional ahead 26-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Whitman-Hanson Regional's victory lifted them to 3-2 while Silver Lake Regional's defeat dropped them down to 1-4. In their win, Whitman-Hanson Regional relied heavily on senior Ethan Phelps, who rushed for 91 yards and 1 touchdown. Silver Lake Regional will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
