Rockwall-Heath has gone 9-1 against Tyler Legacy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rockwall-Heath Hawks will take on the Tyler Legacy Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Rockwall-Heath is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Last Friday, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Rockwall-Heath made off with a 71-70 victory over Forney. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Jackrabbits are ranked 361st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rockwall-Heath got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaac Yacob out in front who went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 23 points. Those 23 points gave Yacob a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Turner-Dicus, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds.
Rockwall-Heath smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in ten consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tyler Legacy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Forney 84-49 on Tuesday.
Rockwall-Heath better keep an eye on Zyere Ceasar. He was instrumental in Tyler Legacy's win, going 8 of 11 on his way to 23 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Jones, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 23 points.
Tyler Legacy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Rockwall-Heath, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-5.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Rockwall-Heath and Tyler Legacy are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Rockwall-Heath hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 61.8 points per game. However, it's not like Tyler Legacy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 62.6 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Rockwall-Heath took their win against Tyler Legacy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 73-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rockwall-Heath since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
