After flying high against Oakdale  last Tuesday, Mountain House came back down to earth. The Mountain House Mustangs fell just short of the Sierra Timberwolves by a score of  3-2 on Thursday. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Timberwolves from their previous meeting  back in December of 2017.

Mountain House's loss dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for Sierra, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home.
 Mountain House will welcome East Union  at 6:15  p.m.  on January 23rd. As for Sierra, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Central Catholic  at 6:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Sierra is facing Central Catholic at the right time seeing as Central Catholic is stuck on  an  eight-game losing streak.
