While Eno River Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions 9-3 on Friday. Considering the Bobcats have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Eno River Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Eno River Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Excelsior Classical Academy: the pair will be back at it again later today.
