Meanwhile, Tucker County can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They blew past Braxton County 62-20 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Tucker County has posted since December 13, 2023.
It was another big night for Raven Matthews, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Macy Helmick, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Tygarts Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Tucker County, their victory was their 14th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Tygarts Valley have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Tucker County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 38.3 rebounds per game.
