La Salle Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. They never let the Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on 26 straight dating back to last season.
Not much got past Hailey Vigneau, who gave up just a hit to keep Lincoln-Sudbury off the board.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lily Roumelis, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Diana Hall was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. La Salle Academy will challenge Smithfield at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they will face off against Concord-Carlisle at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
