Monmouth Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Oak Hill Raiders. Considering the Mustangs have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Monmouth Academy pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Oak Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monmouth Academy will take on Dirigo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Hill, they will square off against Mount Abram at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
