The Allen Park Jaguars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 31-21 to Carlson, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Allen Park has not had much luck with Carlson recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Abigail Carafelli was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Wallace, who scored eight points.
Allen Park bumped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Carlson, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Allen Park will head out on the road to challenge Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carlson won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. Roosevelt's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Carlson's offense will have their work cut out for them.
