Triton hadn't done well against LaVille recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Trojans never let the Lancers get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Lancers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Not much got past Drew Bingamon, who gave up just two hits to keep LaVille off the board. Bingamon has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Triton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braxton Kaufman, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Kaufman has posted over his last 11 games.

Triton is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for LaVille, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
