Claremore managed to slip by Collinsville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around.  Collinsville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Talan Rush, who picked up 109 receiving yards and one  touchdown. Rush's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.
Claremore's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 5-2. As for Collinsville, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
 Claremore didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  58-0  victory against Memorial on the 23rd. As for Collinsville, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Pryor  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 24th. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Cardinals 12.3, the Tigers 13.3) so any  points scored will be well earned.
