 On the hitting side, Jasper saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Emersyn Bass, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
Jasper now  has a losing record of 10-11. As for Purdy, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record  this season.
 Jasper will head out on the road to  challenge  Liberal  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Purdy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
