St. Raymond Boys dropped their record down to 10-5 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Iona Prep Gaels, falling 14-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Ravens' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

As for Iona Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3-1 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

For Iona Prep's part, Shane Jelenevsky looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Jelenevsky has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Iona Prep got a massive performance out of Devin Diaz, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Diaz has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played. Sean Concannon was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
