Bishop Stang took care of business in their home opener. They strolled past Seekonk with points to spare last Friday, taking the match 42-22.
Meanwhile, Cardinal Spellman had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They fell to Hanover 12-26.
Bishop Stang's win lifted them to 1-0 while Cardinal Spellman's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Bishop Stang can add another positive mark to their record or if Cardinal Spellman can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Bishop Stang's step.
