The St. Joseph Academy Flashes will head out on the road to  face off against  the Foundation Academy Lions  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams are coming into the  matchup red-hot, with St. Joseph Academy sitting on  nine straight  wins and Foundation Academy on five.
St. Joseph Academy's defense heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Interlachen 41-0. The Flashes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 27  points or more this season.
 Cody Ott continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 184 yards and three  TDs while completing 90% of his passes, and also rushing for 34 yards and one  touchdown. St. Joseph Academy's leading receiver  Camden Coffindaffer was  Ott's top target yet again, picking up 84 receiving yards, while also punching in one  score on the ground.
 Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something St. Joseph Academy proved: they limited Interlachen to a paltry 2.6 yards per carry. The team can thank  Asher Glisson for the heroic effort on defense: he. St. Joseph Academy didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 12.1.
 St. Joseph Academy's defense also made the game a nightmare for  DJ McKinnon, racking up eight sacks.  Calvin Schilling led the group effort, picking up three of those  sacks all by himself. Glisson was another major factor on D,  picking up  a  sack and making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 Meanwhile, Foundation Academy strolled past West Oaks Academy with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  42-28.
 St. Joseph Academy's record now sits at 9-0. As for Foundation Academy, their record is now 8-2.
 St. Joseph Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their  matchup against Foundation Academy  when the teams last played  back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with  a  10-5 victory. Will the Flashes repeat their success,  or do  the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
