Garinger was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Raziah Mitchell did her best to prevent it. Mitchell was dialed in and dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. She played a big game the last time she faced Butler, so the team probably should've seen her coming. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mitchell has scored all season.
Mitchell and Garinger will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mitchell will face off against Cailee Ligon, East Mecklenburg's star guard. Will Mitchell turn in another gem to overcome Garinger? We'll have our answer very soon.
