With a playoff game on the line, the Stillwater Warriors rose to the challenge on Friday. They claimed a resounding 41-14 win over Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton on the road. Stillwater pushed the score to 34-14 by the end of the third, a deficit Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton had little chance of recovering from.
Stillwater was led to victory by Jaxon Mueller and Lukas Lilac. Mueller rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns, while Lilac gained 199 total yards and two touchdowns. Brody Burdo got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
When it comes to explaining why Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nick Jeckel. Despite the final result, he gained 96 total yards and a touchdown.
The win (which was Stillwater's third in a row) raised their record to 9-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.33 points. As for Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton, their loss dropped their record down to 9-1.
Stillwater will look to defend their home field on November 18th against Moriah at 12:30 p.m. Moriah is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
