Washingtonville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zion Lynch out in front who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mason Blauvelt, who scored ten points along with five assists and four steals.
Washingtonville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Wallkill, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Washingtonville is on the road again on Thursday and play against Liberty at 12:00 p.m. on December 28, 2023. Liberty will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 771st, while Washingtonville is ranked 382nd). Wallkill will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Cornwall Central at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
