The Council Rock North Indians were the 53-52 winner over the Bensalem Fighting Owls when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Council Rock North was the victim of a rough 64-44 loss at the hands of Bensalem on Friday.
Bensalem's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Morris, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Amir Drummond, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Council Rock North's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bensalem, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Council Rock North will take on Council Rock South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bensalem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pennsbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pennsbury is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
