Brandeis had to settle for second on Friday, but Peyton Miers sure wasn't going down easily. Miers wasn't messing around, going 1-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. The match was her third straight with at least one stolen base.

Miers and Brandeis will host Clark at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cougars thanks in part to Miers: she scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
