The Dallas Mountaineers will head out on the road to face off against the Williamsport Millionaires at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Wednesday, things could have been worse for Dallas, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-39 loss to Scranton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dallas has scored all season.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Williamsport, who are still winless after their fifth match. They took a 43-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pottsville. That's two games in a row now that Williamsport has lost by exactly six points.
Dallas' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Williamsport, they have fallen quite a ways from their 18-6 record last season and are now at 0-5.
Dallas beat Williamsport 64-57 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dallas since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
