Baseball Recap: Kohler Gets the Win

Kohler won the last time they faced Howards Grove and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Bombers walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Bombers.

Kaden Harrington made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Harrington was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

Harrington wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Landon Hock, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases Hock has posted since back in April of 2024. Zane Willadsen also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Kohler's record is now 6-4. As for Howards Grove, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Kohler has already played their next game, an 8-7 win against Laconia on the 25th. As for Howards Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Kiel on the 25th.
